Job Title Executive Director
Reports to Board President and is accountable to the Board of Directors
Job Purpose
This role will be to provide direction to a small non-profit based in the Harrisburg area that will be focused on carrying out the mission, vision, and strategy for the organization. This role will be the key person responsible for representing the organization in the community and for carrying our and applying the budget in a fiscally responsible fashion. This role will be the key operational figure and will be responsible for all aspects of operations including staff management and development.
Professional Qualifications, Training, Experience
• A bachelor’s degree in business or human services or equivalent experience.
• Five years of consecutive experience in a non-profit management position.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Experience in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Proven fundraising experience and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector.
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
• Working knowledge of CRM’-s, social media, and general website maintenance.
• Significant knowledge of technology and computer related functions.
• Self-starter, results oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be available for occasional evening and weekend events.
