 STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

 HOURS: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm with flexibility as needed

LOCATION: Harrisburg based with travel as needed

About the Role

We're hiring an experienced operations professional with demonstrated experience providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the mission and critical objectives are fulfilled. The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations. 
  • Ensures work environments are adequate and safe. 
  • Oversees all departments (BD, Creative, HR, IT, Sales, etc), ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership. 
  • Contribute to development of transformational strategies and guide staff in the implementation and execution of new processes and improvement tools. 
  • Create and implement new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meet with the entire staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes. 
  • Leads coordination and integration of efforts to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes. 
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community. 
  • Support corporate events as requested. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Leadership Team. 

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred from four-year college or university, degree or concentration in business, finance or related field

Qualifications

  • 3-5 Years of agency sales experience preferred
  • 2-3 years responsible management of a cohort of teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Strong managerial and diplomacy skills
  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite
  • Experience in working with diverse populations and possess cultural curiosity and a desire to learn and understand more about people whose backgrounds and perspectives are different from their own

Physical Requirements

  • Able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative requirements
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with legal requirements
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
